Aldomania 2006
Posted on September 28, 2006I unfortunately have been caught into reading Mary Worth. Before you wonder why, it’s actually had an interesting storyline, with this weirdo Aldo Kelrast, who is bizarrely smitten with Mary. His fondness for her grows into a creepy stalker’s obsession, complete with “You cannot ignore me!” and all. To catch up with the story you can check it out at The Comics Curmudgeon, complete with reviews and snark. Aldo’s love grows so strong that all of Mary’s friends have to perform an intervention to convince Aldo that he’s barking up the wrong tree with Mary. So Aldo does what any sensible person would do when they are forced to realize that their love for a nosey 60-something year old woman can never be; he gets a bottle of Johnny Walker and drives himself over a cliff. All of which has been rendered lovingly in this hilarous video titled “The Wind Cries Mary Worth”:

solved a bunch of my problems.
nice little toon though.
I didn’t know that the rich editor could do that. I usually have it switched off because it does formatting stuff that bugs me, and largely because I usually work in Safari, where the rich editor doesn’t even appear.
