Stuff I Did at WalMart for Three Hours
Posted on February 21, 2006Yesterday, I had to get new tires for the front wheels of the Cougar. This is not something I was excited to do, nor did I enjoy the fact that there was a three hour wait to do so.
- Laughed at the two guys in the waiting room with a newly purchased case and a half of Magic: The Gathering cards, going over their finds.
- Listened to the entire Security Now podcast.
- Sent some text messages.
- Ate a cheeseburger. (Thank you in-store McDonald’s.
- Contemplated the odds of WalMart becoming an MVNO. I say they’ll do it by 2015.
- Saw a guy with not one but two baby arms.
Tempted children with unpaid for candy.- Listened to the entire Katamari Damacy soundtrack.
- Rearranged some product for a while.
- Thought about buying a Nintendo DS, only to return it when my car was done, so I’d have something to do for three hours.
- Thank God I had my iPod, otherwise those Magic card guys might have talked to me.
- Almost got a haircut, “to pass the time.”
- Stared at pens for a while. (I’m really picky when it comes to the pens I use.
- Stole the pen and paper I wrote this down on.
- The LA Times crossword puzzle.
- Buying a bass guitar to practice, and then return when I was done.

dam dude 3 hours in wallmart. Play the demo console games?
I like to face products when really bored.
I love wallmart in the wee hours of the morning.
I don’t like to face products, I just do it out of a crippling sense of OCD. Or something. And wee hour WalMart is when the best people come out.
